Amber felt that she could not do her job. She was missing targets and felt inadequate. Her relationship with her manager was poor and she felt angry and defensive towards many of her colleagues. As Amber began to be aware of her self-talk she started to look after herself better. She saw that she had a choice in how she was and she began to choose to behave differently. Amber started to respond to people differently. By the time she had finished our coaching, she described herself as buoyant. Amber enjoys her job now and looks forward to coming into work!
Tammy had lost confidence when she and her husband divorced. When she joined us, we gave her the confidence to start really living her life again. She fully raised her game in work and applied for her first stand up comedy gig!

My name is Ruth and I’m Director at Fresh Air Fridays, where we take people outside to feel better on the inside.
As my understanding and experience have developed I know now that no one needs fixing, we are all innately perfect, complete and whole. AND I know it doesn’t always feel that way!
I had been coaching in my business for more than a decade when our daughter developed anorexia. During that time I explored deep into the world of mental ill-health and mental wellbeing.
I came out wishing that all I had learnt had been more easily accessible. That was why Fresh Air Fridays was born! I wanted more people to know how to look after their mental and emotional wellbeing so they are able to lead a life they love.
My name is Rose and I’m also Director of Fresh Air Fridays, where we give people space, support and skills so they can live a life they love.
I’ve been helping people in my working life for the last 25 years, and I’ve come to believe that we are happiest when we are fulfilling our potential. What I’ve also found is that when I help people fulfil their potential, then that fulfils something in me!
When I was diagnosed with cancer, my life took a huge turn.
My healing journey and the inner awareness I sought during that time, brought me to a deep understanding of what helps me work well – physically, mentally and emotionally.
I soon realised that being the best possible version of myself from the inside out is the best way I could have a positive impact in the world.
I want to give you the very same teachings and practices that helped me make it through and become a stronger person than ever.
At Fresh Air Fridays, we utilise the 35+ years’ experience in coaching and wellbeing to build integrative and transformational programmes to improve the lives of our community, who are just like you.
We share simple tools and explore different themes, allowing people to understand what each of these ideas means for them on their own journey.
To positively impact people’s wellbeing now and for future generations and influence wellbeing policy and practice.
