These are monthly 3 hour community sessions that anyone 18 years and over can join. A different theme is explored each calendar month. We encourage people to attend at least one session a month in order to cover all 12 themes. There is also value in attending multiple sessions to explore a theme several times, because this deepens the insights and benefits. Your facilitator will manage social distancing within the small group.
All these sessions run outside. Being outside helps us become more relaxed and resourceful. Walking helps everyone access both sides of their brain and there is now a significant body of research showing that being in green spaces, and particularly amongst trees, is good for our wellbeing.
Programmes are run over a period of time so that you have the support to build new behaviours. This allows integration of ideas and actions into your everyday life - knowing something makes no difference, but understanding combined with action does.
